Album Info:Burlington Northern Santa Fe Red River Division Houston Subdivision MP 168.46 - FM 977 gc Flynn, Texas, USA 29 December 2016 - 13:05 CST I was working outside, so I never heard the story on the scanner. After this train came to a stop and sat outside the house for a while, a BNSF truck pulled up, two gents got out and entered the cab. Cab alarms started ringing intermittently, then both locomotives were shut down. About 5 minutes later, they started them back up again, with the NS unit first. I'm no expert, but it did not sound like a healthy idle. The two guys got off and drove away, then the conductor climbed down, flagged the FM 977 crossing and the train continued south.
