Viewing Album:  Horseshoe Curve, When Conrail Existed!

Album Info:An attempt to preserve history! This album is from October 1992, when I was four years old. I was visiting my uncle in Holidaysburg, PA and my grandfather and my father decided to tak a trip to Horseshoe Curve. I remember seeing the blue engines roll through the tunnels of PA and watch them climb the steep grades, including the famous Horseshoe Curve. Now the railroad has been split and the Conrail scheme is disappearing as NS and CSX repaint the locomotives. I hope you will enjoy some of the past and be proud of our railroad history!
