Gulf Mobile & Ohio Railroad caboose 2961 ( later, ICG 199061 ) in Jackson, Tennessee on April 3, 1984, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Built by Western Maryland Railway numbered 1855 on February 10, 1940 as a standard cupola caboose, it was sold to Marshall Railway Equipment in December 1964 and rebuilt into a wide vision car prior to service on GM&O. At Casey Jones Village it was displayed as a billboard. |
