David Stewart General Nice shot William! 7/19/2008 12:18:57 AM
William H. Davis Jr. General Thanks David, I took a risk doing this shot. I was blocked by the northbound empty coal train & luckily there was a bridge I could walk under to get between the 2 trains for the shot. I wanted to drive under the bridge but what kept me from doing that was a huge mud hole with too deep of water too risk me driving my low car through it. I would've tried it had I still had my 4 Runner 7/19/2008 12:28:09 AM
Richard Burdick General I have thought about getting a running shot from under that bridge, but decided that it wasnt worth the risk.imaging the suprise of the crew if they noticed a person pop up to take a shot like some kind if weird groundhog between the tracks! 3/11/2012 3:25:45 PM
William H. Davis Jr. General The only reason I risked this shot is it was do it or miss the shot, wasn't worth chasing it & it was in the middle of nowhere, even if I'd been reported I'd been long gone by the time anyone showed up, I'm a chaser & like to follow certain rail lines when possible, I hate playing the waiting game, but there are some exceptions where I'll hang around a while, but usually like to drive around for different shots, sometimes I have to move around for the best light angles, these days when you sit around you're a sitting duck for if you're reported cops can come run you off or give you the 3rd degree in this era of terrorism, I just hope RR's don't get targeted, if so that'll be the end of RR photography 3/11/2012 3:46:32 PM
