Chris Balducci General Why has that middle signal had its sides cut off? This must have been an important line at one time to have been signaled. 7/26/2010 9:52:47 PM
Eugene Cain General CSX rerouted the traffic that had ran here to the nearby "S" Line and abandoned this stretch north to Gulf junction, just south of Dunnellon. Prior to the abandonment, this route had been fairly busy. i am glad some pictures were taken here to document this. It remains a mystery why the Signal targets were chopped on the ends hee. Similar "Chopped Target" Signals could be found as far south as Vitis Junction on this line. Does anyone know about the chopped targets??? 11/30/2012 5:45:58 PM
