the train order signal told train and enginemen if there were any orders from the dispatcher!!! if this signdl was NOT clear then a train would NOT leave without a clearance from the operator issued by the dispatcher which might or might not contain any orders which could be a meet wiwh an opposing train!!! when running in opposite directions on single track this would be a signal that you would NOT want to miss!!! |
