ATSF 3158
Much has changed since this shot was taken back in August of 73. Amtrak #3 is loading passengers while this eastbound piggyback train rolls through with an Alco Alligator as second unit. This pic was rejected by Railpics so enjoy.

Geneva Short General Impressive image, and interesting commentary about that "other" site - without detracting from those contributors they DO take, I believe the site moderators are a bit narrow-minded - and I've never tried to submit anything there. Again, excellent work Mr. Tracy! 9/4/2011 8:15:23 PM
Fred Stuckmann General Great homepage shot. 4/22/2012 9:15:25 PM

David Cenci General Bet that crew wasn't too happy with the power desk that day...Homepage 4-4-13. 4/5/2013 12:43:57 AM
Tom Beckett General Super shot!! The only thing that would have been better was GM&O F's on the adjacent track. Railpics must be run by idiots. I wonder if they have any clue what they're missing. 12/10/2013 11:25:20 PM
Paul Bishop General Nice shot. Homepage photo. 3/20/2014 11:42:00 PM
Scott Crotwell General Nice shot. I had two really nice pictures rejected by that Web site, so I gave up on it. I enjoy RRPA. 1/15/2016 9:13:58 PM
Tom Beckett General Home page again 3-8-2016. Still a great shot. Railpics still is suffering from cranial rectal inversion. 3/8/2016 3:27:44 AM
Scott L. Smith General I don't comment often, but this is a beauty 3/17/2016 2:28:23 PM
Tom Beckett General Still marvel that Railpics rejected this. Yeah, it's a little grainy. But the composition is right on, and the historic value is superb. Excellent, and not typically seen, view of Joliet. Home page 06-19-2020 6/19/2020 4:03:30 AM
