| AHC. Here is an original 35mm color slide by Howard L. Robins that was taken at the Horseshoe Curve near Altoona, Pennsylvania, in September of 1959. Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #7047, #7177-B, and another unit whose road number is not recorded. All are EFS-17M's built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,750 horsepower each. #7047 was constructed in December of 1955, while #7177-B was built in November of 1957. Wave to the Engineman! |
