Jim Satterwhite General Great subject matter and a well deserved Editor's Pick. I too, have a lot of old slides to submit. Is there anyway to clean them up and free them from the dust, dirt and bacteria? 11/1/2010 1:11:41 AM
George Redmond General Great shot, Great location. 11/1/2010 5:58:36 PM
Mike Woodruff General This is a great pic, but I have a hard time believing it is the Green Diamond, which usually ran with fewer than 10 cars and was scheduled to depart Chicago in late afternoon. The length of this train (I count at least 14 cars) and the fact that this is a morning shot strongly suggests this to be either train no.1, the "City of New Orleans" or train no. 53, the "City of Miami." 11/3/2010 10:31:47 AM
Daryl McGee General Looking back through my notes this is the City of Miami. I posted from memory which I should know better than to do. This was a LONG time ago! 11/4/2010 10:40:50 AM
David Stewart General Great shot! 11/9/2010 11:14:12 PM
Fred Stuckmann General What was I thinking when I didn't take pictures in the 60s? Glad you did, Daryl. Nice shot. 12/5/2010 4:27:26 PM
