Galley-lounge car 3322 was built by Budd in December 1950 as Pennsylvania Railroad parlor car 7137 WILLIAM PENN, one of 16 cars built for operation on the SENATOR and the CONGRESSIONAL. It was renamed ANTHONY WAYNE in 1960, subsequently equipped with a galley, and retained its original number on the Penn Central. It was initially Amtrak 3637 before being remodeled into galley-lounge 3322. (approximate month) |
