I rode the last B&M steam run from Boston to Portland on April 22, 1956 - this is a water stop. Note the sanding as 3713 backs to the water standpipe. Built by Lima in 1934, 3713 was one of the last and heaviest Pacifics built. Now being restored at Steamtown. |
