One of the odder outposts of the Reading in the greater Philadelphia area was its minor engine terminal in Eddystone. Here an EMD SW1001 lays over on a weekend in September 1975. This line was the original right of way of the Philadelphia, Wilmington and Baltimore Railroad and was not physically connected with the rest of the Reading system. |
