Overhead look at a SD40T-2 and GP38 at the Buffalo and Pittsburgh Railroad's locomotive maintenance shops. Both of these have a rich history. BPRR 3301 was built as DRGW 5394, later became SP 5984, then KCS 6102/3170. BP RR 7822 was built as PC 7822 in November 1969 before moving onto Conrail. It has always kept the same number. You can still see the Conrail name on the end of it. |
