The former Minneapolis & St. Louis Excelsior depot - whose opening was graced by the presence of the legendary Lucian C. Sprague himself - later became home to the Excelsior-Lake Minnetonka Historical Society's museum, which now is dwarfed - incredibly - by a townhome development which got squeezed onto a narrow strip of nearby land. |
