| The station at Woodside was a great place if you liked main line railroading and transit. Dad is on the LIRR platform as a No 7 Flushing train makes its stop overhead. The IRT platform was a great place to see LIRR,action from, which in those days meant C 420s and ping pongs, as well as hand me down long distance cars on the east end trains. |
