| The 3802 and its amazingly loud whistle usher a handfull of cars towards MX crossing at Olin Ave. on Madison's south side. This is the location of the junction between the former C&NW mainline from Janesville to Madison and WSOR's Central Soya spur. There has been talk in recent years about putting the former C&NW mainline back into service to reach a business park south of Madison, but it looks like a jungle for the time being. Out of picture to the left is Madison's first public pool. The pool looks fantastic, and, probably owing to high temperatures and beach closures, it's a smash-hit in its first summer of operation. |
