| Burlington Northern Railroad 966026 at Galesburg ( Illinois ) Railroad Days on June 6, 1981, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. This was the tender for wrecker D257. Note in addition to a smiley face on the side of the boom, a snake face was painted on the end of the boom with an eyeball at the top. I point this feature out because I was there and I missed it. I noticed it while cleaning the slide. I sure would have shot a better image if I had seen the snake face. |
