AEFR 5
Number 5 was built by GE in June 1946 (c/n 28467) and was used to switch coal between the IC connection in Coleman and the state hospital in South Elgin, the only remaining customer on the railroad after passenger service was discontinued in 1935. After the coal service was discontinued in 1973, this locomotive was sold to Chicago Gravel Company as 511, but returned to home rails on the Fox River Trolley Museum in 2001.
