Wood. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide (converted to B&W) of a photo by Don Wood that was taken in Morgan, New Jersey, in September of 1954. Shown here (F to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #830 and #1983. Both are K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacifics" built in Juniata. #830 was built in July of 1917 and retired in April of 1958, while #1983 was built in March of 1918 and retired in December of 1955. Mr. Woods' Caption: "Engines 830 and 1983 have just crossed Cheesequake Creek bridge at Morgan Station on the last leg of the journey from Bay Head to South Amboy. Train is No. 782."
