Tom Beckett General This was one of a group that, I think, eventually numbered 80 units. They were hard working soldiers, and quite a few of them wound up working on the D&H during the NYSW directed service operation in the late 80's. So, perhaps, yes, these were the GE's that sold NW, and then NS on General Electric power. Just as an aside, there were several of these, I think 8000-8005, painted in a maroon with gold lettering scheme when they were delivered around 1979 or so. Cool album. I liked the LIRR C 420.
