Here is the first of three successive photos by John S. Fisher that were taken in Crestline, Ohio, in October of 1955. Caption On Reverse: "Pennsy 4-4-6-4 Q-2 Class built in 1945 now scrapped at Crestline, Ohio, in October of 1955." Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #6195, #6197, and #6186. All were built in Juniata; none of them saw more than ten years of revenue service. #6195 was constructed in June of 1945 and retired in January of 1956, #6197 was built in June of 1945 and retired in December of 1955, while #6186 was constructed in April of 1945 and retired in January of 1956. |
