Here is page 53 of a 64-page booklet published by Harry P. Albrecht entitled "World Famous Horseshoe Curve, Altoona, Pennsylvania Railroad." It was first issued in September of 1973. Partial Caption: "The most notable locomotive built at Altoona Works was the first Class K4s No. 1737 in 1914. The first Class L1S No. 1752 was also built that year." Top Photo: Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #1737, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during May of 1914 and retired in February of 1960. Bottom Photo: Shown here is PRR engine #1752, an L-1S (2-8-2) "Mikado" built in Juniata in April of 1914 and retired in December of 1948.
