"During the period from 1900 to 1906, the extensive program [of improvements and developments] was carried out. Trackage was increased by completing the Williamsburg branch from that town to Petersburg, by rebuilding the New Portage Railroad (dismantled in 1858), and constructing extensive yard and enginehouse facilities in Hollidaysburg." |
