It started with a horn in the distance  Contributor's Pick!
I was outside working on some yard task, when I heard a horn off to the south. I took off for town to see what was up. A check of the signal at South Siloam Springs showed a restricting-see the Track and Signals album for that sequence-so a northbound will be taking the siding. By the time I got into position, the train-it was the 181, whose back end we see here-was already too far up for me to get a good shot, and the southbound you see here had passed the detector up at Davidson Rd. I set up on the US 412 bridge, and shot the back end meet.
