Description:
This solid, no-nonsense 4-6-2 Pacific was built by Alco-Schenectady in February of 1913 as B&M #3678. It served for nearly 42 years before being sent to the scrapper's torch in July of 1955. Specs - class P-2-b, 73" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 22x28" cylinders, engine wt of 238,000 lb and tractive effort of 31,600 lb. No date, location or photographer was listed for the photo.
