NOPSI 914
Title:  NOPSI 914
Description:  New Orleans Public Service cars 914, 892 and 913 were on the lay-over tracks at the foot of Canal Street. In the background on the left was the Coca-Cola District Factory, on the right was the pedestrian overpass to the Canal Street-Algiers ferry landing, and behind that was the Louisville & Nashville railroad station. Car 892 had been built by J.G. Brill Co. in 1922 and was scrapped in February 1955, while the 913 and 914 were built by the Perley A. Thomas Car Works in 1924. The 913 was sold to the Orange Empire Trolley Museum in 1964 and moved to the San Francisco Municipal Railway in 2005. Car 914 has never been retired and was still in operation on the ST. CHARLES line in 2020. (approximate date of photo)
